Heligoland is strongest on Isolation 9/10 — Roughly 70 km of North Sea separate the island from mainland population sources and normal access is by ferry/ship. A year-round ferry, working harbour and established resident/tourist population prevent the absolute highest separation class.. Its clearest scored constraint is Defensibility 2/10 — The canonical Base is an inhabited whole island, not one harbour or bunker.
